BI Developer

We are looking for a BI Developer to strengthen the reporting and analytics of TWINO investment platform. If you have a deep understanding of business intelligence tools, strong SQL and Python proficiency, and the ability to transform complex data into actionable insights, this opportunity is for you. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions that drive informed decision-making and optimize the platform's performance.
This is an autonomous role based in Riga, giving you freedom and ownership to drive real impact.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and maintain business intelligence solutions, dashboards, and reports, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and optimal performance
- Integrate data from various sources into the BI platform, enabling the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
- Develop, test, and automate ETL processes, perform data investigations, quality testing
- Develop and optimize SQL/ dbt scripts to extract and manipulate data for analytical purposes
- Design, build, and implement data models, including data warehouses and data marts, to support reporting and analysis
- Monitor and optimize the performance of BI solutions and ETL processes to ensure responsive and efficient reporting
- Create visually appealing and user-friendly dashboards and reports that convey complex information effectively
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, Finance, defining requirements and expectations for data
- Create and maintain documentation for developed solutions
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to make recommendations for improvements
What we are looking for
- 3+ years of experience as a BI Developer or similar role in a financial services or fintech environment
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience with SQL-based BI tools, with expertise in Apache Superset being a strong advantage
- The ability to use dbt and dynamic SQL with Jinja templates
- Advanced knowledge of Python
- Strong data modeling and ETL skills
- Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Apache Superset or Power BI
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

The salary range for this position varies from 2800-4200 EUR gross depending on the skill set, experience, and other competencies.
